		<description>Yes, people really do seem to like it and it just encourages people to do more of it. I think we all struggle with striking the right tone, especially since blogging in particular is emotions based and we usually blog right after reacting to something. 

That&#039;s why self-awareness helps as a writer, at some point you have to step back and say yeah some people may like this side of me, but do I like it? And it isn&#039;t helping me reach the type of reader I want?</description>

		<description>I don&#039;t consider myself a writer, but I do blog, periodically. And I&#039;ve been grappling with my tone on certain issues, that involve things or people that don&#039;t agree with. Now, I will always be &quot;me,&quot; often times sarcastic, facetious, etc.. However, I know it&#039;s a matter of maturity (and insecurity), and I need to be able to stand on my beliefs, while limiting the unnecessary snark.

It&#039;s very true that those who persistently practice snark in their work, or even tweets come off as negative. Oddly, that&#039;s what people seem to like. Still, I don&#039;t want that to be a lasting impression of me.
