Welcome to Media Strut–the site for those who’ve got “IT” and those who want to learn how to get it.
I have a provided communications advice and speechwriting services to policy makers, executives, political activists, and other professionals. As a media coach, I’ve helped people become comfortable and successful in their interactions with the media, public, and other stakeholders. Over the past 10 years I have worked in communications professionally, and the best part of work is the dialogue I have with clients.
I envision media strut as a place to discuss communications issues and to challenge our perceptions of the media and public figures. Through this site I will analyze the way the media handles issues and people and how people handle their image in the media. I think it will be fun.
I also want to help readers get better at building their own images and communicating well. We’re all communicators, but we’re not all good at it. Fortunately, with some practice and the right direction we all can be. That means in addition to media commentary, I will also give tips for speakers and interviewers. Hopefully, those tips will help those of you who face the media and the public or have to prepare others to do so.
Soon, I will be offering media coaching and speechwriting services–but not just yet. Check back periodically for more information.
